I’m currently on my flight back from Seattle after hanging out a weekend with Kelly and Kira. I forgot how fun Kelly was, and how easy to talk to her (take note future boyfriend). Kira was the same, she had a very extroverted, talkative personality that made our dynamics fun. It was great to catch with Kelly, to hear about her life and especially her relationship, engagement, and eventually wedding/marriage to Mark. I am so happy for them. It is such a romantic and sweet story. And from what I can see, they truly are cute and perfect for each other.
I also realize that I’m not a very good life/story sharer. I think I’m good at conversations and asking other people questions, but not very good at sharing my own life even when ask…I keep saying my life is boring but it really isn’t…right? I think I just am prone to think that way, or to at least have some privacy to myself. Maybe this realization is also pair with the recent realization that I’m an introvert…not an ambivert, but an introvert. I’m pretty sure I get my energy by being by myself, that’s how I’m able to take long runs and go to the gym. At the same time, I do like company and friends but prefer it to be 1-on-1 or small groups. I think introverts had kind of a bad rep so I tried to deny it…but who I am is who I am!
Back to Seattle: what a lovely and beautiful city! I loved it! Can’t believe Antony, Chris, and Raph had a bad time there. I loved it! I love the quaint small stories, the beautiful restaurants, the great foo, the nice people, the chill relaxing atmosphere. It almost feels like SF but without the pretentiousness. My favorite food place had to be Crumble & Flake. OMG, every bite of everything we got was freaking delicious. In terms of attractions, the EMF museum was bomb. Glad I was able to take pictures of everything I wanted to, hehe. One of these days, I want to go to a museum and read every placard and exhibit…without feeling rush (take note future boyfriend). Great relaxing, yummy trip (even if my legs will be a bit sore from all the walking).
